Love is in the air…..for all you lovers out there. Cupid’s out and about looking to fill your hearts with flowers, chocolates and probably jewellery for the ladies. For Valentine’s Day 2020 I decided to do another Gift Guide to try to help you out when it comes to picking the “perfect” gift for your loved ones.
I have included three gift ideas for women and three gift ideas for men. I’m just trying to make things fair and 50/50 how I like to call it. So let’s get to it.
Full Disclosure: This page may contain affiliate links which means that when you click on these links and buy something, I may earn a little commission but it does not affect you in any way. Three Valentine’s Day gift ideas for Her:
You can’t go wrong with jewellery. You know it. We know it. There are so many different types and tastes when it comes to jewellery. In my mind as long as it looks elegant and pretty then most girls will be happy when they open that gift box. I have come across this very cute online boutique called San Rocca Italia and they do such cute original pieces. I was gifted this gorgeous pair of earrings (to be posted soon) and they come with a matching necklace. This necklace would make a great present for your lucky lady as it’s simple, elegant and chic so would go with pretty much any casual and dressy outfit.

These little bag books are just so handy I honestly don’t know why more of us girls don’t have one in our handbags. I was gifted one of these many years ago and when I remember to use it, my bag has a place other than on the back of my chair/ on the floor. The one I was gifted also came with a mirror inside which, come on, is super handy when you have a certain size handbag and cannot fill it with unnecessary crap – yes we all do it.
Aspinal are also doing a Valentine’s Day special – free personalisation on leather goods using code CUPID20

For anyone who follows me and keeps up with my Insta posts and fave products on the blog, you would have gathered by now that I just absolutely LOVE my Swarovski phone cases. They look pretty and spice up that boring Iphone any day. My other half always buys me a case when it comes to these small holidays. And I am definitely looking forward to a new one this year.
Swarovski even do a loop type crystal swan sticker with a ring to attach to your phone case so you can hold you phone easily.
Three Valentine’s Day gift ideas for Him:
1. Monthly Subscription Service
Subscriptions are the latest craze. You subscribe to a monthly box of goodies like alcohol or make up and the specialised company sends you goodies to try each month (or quarter or bi monthly – whatever you choose). This allows you to try new things without buying full size products for example. In the case of alcohol it gives you a taster of fine wines or tequilas from around the world as one example. There are also companies who do shaving products delivered each month so you never run out. Amazon Prime do subscribe and save on pretty much all essentials so you can check them out too for your basic needs.
- Shaving (if your other half loves his grooming and self care, then this shaving subscription service is definitely for him. Use code TB20 at checkout to get 20% off your first box). For my US readers here is a US link.
- Craft Beer (use code ILOVELONDON at checkout to get a special discount). For those living in the US – here is a US link for you (you get 3 bonus gifts and free shipping when you join)
- Men’s Accessories & Items (use code FIRST1 for 20% off your first box)
- Gym Goodies (10% off your first order with code GYM10)
US Subscriptions Only
- Personalised Stylist Men’s Fashion – You can have a stylist prepare a few pieces of clothing for your loved one and send them over according to a number of questions re his tastes and style. If he doesn’t like them you can return the items – if he likes them he chooses which ones he is keeping and then pays for the items. This works a little like Amazon Prime Wardrobe.
- Cigars – For those cigar smokers in your life this makes an amazing present. I’m considering finding one in the UK for both my hubby and father (gift idea for my mum to use) as they love smoking cigars.
Please take note that I haven’t tried these subscription services – just recommending what I have come across on the internet. The only thing my husband has tried is the Harry’s After shave balm and liked it.
One subscription service I have tried is a beauty subscription box (Birchbox, GlossyBox and LookFantastic) – all of which I loved, especially the fact that you receive a ton of goodies straight to your door. Christmas every month!!
2. Pen from Mont Blanc
For all those serious-office types who need to look good at important meetings, then this pen will definitely be a winner. The ones I found which I thought were just too cute comes in ball point (US link) and rollerball (US link).
3. Virgin Experience
If you want to wow your boyfriend/ husband/ partner with the ultimate Valentine’s Day gift idea then be sure to check out experience gifts. My favourites for experience gifts include driving and flying. There are plenty of other gifts you can choose from of course – check out the Virgin Experiences website for the full list and let your imagination run wild.
So there you have it my 2020 Valentine’s Day Gift Guide to woo your loved ones. Let me know in the comments what you bought for your partners and have a great Valentine’s Day (or even weekend ;P) !!
