Femme Luxe Loungewear Sets - Gifted Review

(AD | GIFTED) When you’re stuck at home pretty much all day long, the only thing you can think about is being comfortable. What better way to be comfortable and still look stylish and pretty, then by wearing gorgeous, comfy loungewear sets. Femme Luxe definitely understands this and have put together a vast collection of loungewear and kindly sent me a few to try out and report back. Here is my review of the Femme Luxe loungewear sets.

When picking loungewear, I look for comfort and style. I want to be comfortable and still look pretty when I’m home. I would definitely add loungewear to my wardrobe staples list! Lounging around doesn’t mean you need to throw on an old t-shirt and track pants (not that there is anything wrong with that) and I am very guilty of doing this. As a result, I feel messy, uncomfortable and lazy. So my aim was to find something to pick up my mood and make me feel prettier – like I’m actually making an effort. And I think it’s important to look nice for not only myself but for my husband too! I received three loungewear sets from Femme Luxe – I wear them at home when lounging around, and for my quick trips to the park and store.

Crop Top Loungewear Set

I liked this set and would definitely wear this if I liked wearing crop tops and wasn’t so shy of showing off my stomach. This style isn’t really for me so if you like wearing crop tops then you will like this as it’s comfy (albeit slightly scratchy for my liking) and no doubt stylish. Glitter Side Loungewear Set

I love the colour of this set: pink has always been my favourite colour. When I chose this set I sort of expected this to look slightly different to what it actually looked like. Don’t get me wrong, it’s comfortable and soft, and the pink is a lovely colour which I would have loved to wear outside, even on a plane when travelling, would have been perfect. However, the glitter is a little too bling for me. I expected it to be a little more subtle, but if this works for you then this is definitely a great loungewear set I would recommend. Boxy T-Shirt Loungewear Set

Out of all 3 loungewear sets, this one is my favourite. I love the grey colour – very natural, goes with everything and looks great if you have a grey colour scheme in your home too. Plus it is very soft, comfortable and sits well. Check the waist size when ordering as for me, even though the size was great everywhere else, the waistband wasn’t tight enough and the pants seemed to slip down a bit. Verdict

Overall my impression of Femme Luxe is good. The ordering process was straightforward. Sizes were pretty much how I expected. I would advise to size up slightly to avoid the clothes looking too tight and uncomfortable, especially if you’re buying loungewear then make sure you check the sizes to allow for breathing room. Delivery was fast and arrived via Hermes courier. If you order before midnight, you get free Next Day delivery on orders over £25. Bonus if you’re a student, as you get 10% off. The only point that may be an issue or slight disappointment (or not if it doesn’t bother you), is that returns are not free – they are via Royal Mail and cost £2.50 – plus you get only 14 days, not the usual 30. I’m actually not sure how I feel about that as for me returns are super important, especially when ordering online as it should be just as easy and straightforward as placing the order (and of course free). This is a point you need to decide on as each person is different.
