How to get organized for Christmas 2022
Here are a few of my favourite quick and easy tips to get organized for Christmas this year:
Start the planning and prepping process early (like now!)
If you break the larger job of “plan Christmas” into more manageable, smaller chunks, and get planning in advance with these smaller tasks, then the overall goal is easier to reach.
Make a shopping list (and meal plan!)
Whether you are buying online, having the food pre-made for you or heading over to the supermarket yourself, make a simple shopping list of every single product you may need for your Christmas dinner party. Then use that shopping list to make a meal plan – this way you know what you are serving, when and what products you need for each meal. TIP: the more planned out you are, the less stress overwhelm you will feel on the day.
Pre-plan your gifts
Don’t overthink or overspend on gifts. Keep things simple with gift vouchers. Check out my Gift Guides for easy gift ideas for the whole family.
Declutter early
Don’t forget to keep your home clean and declutter before the holidays early to avoid adding more mess and clutter to your home. Presents bring more things back into your home so a great pro tip is to declutter so that you don’t feel like you have more things than what you started with. Here is a handy decluttering post for you to get you started.
Keep a rolling to-do list on hand
This ensures you are freeing your mind of chaos by having everything written down on a pad or list. And gives you the satisfaction of ticking things off as you go. Want to take your productivity to a higher level, then check out this helpful blog post with the ultimate productivity tips.
