(AD | GIFTED) In my attempt to do my bit for the world and live an eco-friendly life, I was quite happy to be able to try and review the Kit and Kin biodegradable eco nappies and wipes gifted to us by Kit and Kin and Bump PR. Kit and Kin produce nappies, wipes, skincare and babywear. Their products have such cute designs – especially the nappies with the woodland creatures designed on the back. They are too cute for words, especially on the baby’s bottom.

Kit and Kin Biodegradable Nappies – Gifted Product Review
Kit & Kin was created in 2017 by our co-founders Emma Bunton and Christopher Money, who wanted to develop natural, gentle and sustainable products for families. We were lucky to have been given both the biodegradable eco nappy pants for my son and the nappies for Baby M. We were also gifted a packet of eco baby wipes. What I love about the company is that they also have the nappies and wipes in a subscription service. This is extremely handy as you will always stay on top of your baby essentials without running out.
Products that are safe for babies
Kit & Kin have developed a range of natural products for families which contain gentle ingredients and materials with no harsh chemicals that have been created to be kind to the most sensitive of skin.
The biodegradable eco nappies and other products are clinically tested to ensure they’re hypoallergenic and approved by dermatologists and their skincare is pH balanced and certified natural by the Soil Association.

Products that protect the world
Kit & Kin’s second mission is to preserve the planet’s natural resources and reduce our environmental impact. This is why they use eco-friendly materials and ingredients throughout their product ranges. For example, the biodegradable eco nappies have been developed using chlorine-free fluff pulp harvested from sustainably managed forests and the front panels, tapes, anti-leak barriers and packaging are all made from an oxo-biodegradable material.
I really enjoyed using the biodegradable eco nappies on Baby M as they were very soft yet strong. They really held in quite a lot of pee surprisingly and didn’t feel wet, especially after a peaceful night’s sleep – so no worrying that baby is uncomfortable during the night. Plus his tushie didn’t go red or rashy. Plus he looked so sweet with the giraffes and bunnies printed on his little bottom.
We liked the eco baby wipes: they are composed of a 100% biodegradable and sustainable plant-based material. Kit & Kin also sell nappy sacks which use a sustainable GM-free corn-based film to completely break down. These would be very good to have in your diaper bag when out and about.
Products (and company) that gives back to the world
Kit & Kin have teamed up with World Land Trust (WLT) to raise awareness of rainforest conservation and to help save and protect threatened habitats across the world. This funds sustainable community development projects in Guatemala such as education, healthcare and family planning.
For every 10 customers that buy a Kit & Kin nappy subscription, they promise to fund the purchase and protection of one acre of tropical rainforest through WLT. For every product purchased they will make a donation to WLT. This allows WLT’s local partners to secure threatened forest habitats in Argentina, Ecuador and Mexico.

Verdict
We absolutely LOVED the Kit & Kin 100% biodegradable eco nappies – Baby M slept well in them during the night, they didn’t leak and his tushie was rash-free. Their designs are gorgeous and cute and it’s an amazing thing they are doing to help the planet. Every step towards zero-waste and sustainability is a step to help the world for our children and their future.
