Who doesn’t love the transition between Summer and Fall. When the leaves turn orangery-red 🍂 🍁 and the sun shines through the trees 🌳 and clouds ⛅️ warming your face. And of course shopping for your fall capsule wardrobe!! When you get to wear cozy knitwear and chunky cardigans over pretty summer dresses or distressed jeans. Not forgetting the great taste of a Pumpkin Spice Latte in preparation for my favourite holiday 🎃 If you’re anything like me then you would have spent most of August and September thinking about your fall wardrobe and what pieces are essential to get you through the slightly chillier autumn days. So I thought I’d cover all of my fall pieces in this October Fashion Favourites post.

My October Fashion Favourites
During my “Website Shopping” (my alternative to “window shopping”) sprees, I came across a whole load of fall fashion pieces that would look great in my capsule wardrobe. Anyways…back to the point at hand: My October Fashion Favourites.
1. Distressed Jeans
A must-have in anyone’s closet is a comfortable, stylish and perfectly ripped pair of distressed jeans. I currently own the Zara (US link) jeans below and the H&M (similar US pair linked)
Recently I’ve gone on an “American Eagle“ craze and these very cool jeans are on my list to purchase ASAP – currently HUGE sale on American Eagle between 30-60% off (don’t forget to check out other Sales currently on at the moment):

Found these amazing leggings from Amazon: they are soft, high-waisted and ever so comfortable. The plain black ones can be found here (US link) and come in a red merlot colour, dark grey and navy blue.
There’s also a mesh style called The Warrior (US link) and a leather panelled one called The Dare Devil (US link). I am yet to buy and try these but I am sure they are just as amazing plus stylish – definitely on my To Buy list! They also come in red merlot and navy blue.
A few cheaper alternatives can be found on my favourite site ASOS
South Beach Seemless Leggings in Grey (US link)
Only Play Training Legging (US link)

3. Grey Chunky Cardigan
My favourite grey chunky rib cardigan I bought from ASOS but it is by New Look (US link)
Here is one that I had my eye on is by MaxMara but is very pricey so may be one for that “luxury buy” list that I will probably get to some time in the future.
Other ASOS alternatives are:
Pieces Chunky Knit Long Cardigan in Grey (US link)
ASOS Design Oversized Cardigan in Chunky Rib with Buttons (US link)
Micha Lounge Luxe Maxi Cardigan with side splits (US link)
4. Colour block Cardigan/ Sweaters
I love colour block patterns especially ones that I have seen on other bloggers’ Instagram accounts. The colour block I purchased is from George At Asda. It’s soft, comfortable and oh so luxe.
Other ones I have my eye on are:
Brave Soul Block Stripe Cardigan (US link)
Tommy Hilfiger Colourblock Cardigan (US link)
5. Leopard-print shoes
