(AD | GIFTED) I was so happy to be able to receive and assemble the Ottmar Vintage Console Table from Ottmar, a Furniture company that specialised in tables! They have some very cute pieces and upon receipt of my console table, I was instantly hooked. Ottmar is a family-run business which has been trading for over 40 years. “It supplies a world market with a unique range of furniture designed to fit every space for a modern lifestyle”.

Review of the Ottmar vintage console table
The console table was very easy to put together. The instructions are very clear and my husband definitely enjoyed assembling the console table.
My husband put the console table together in roughly 40-50 minutes whilst I recorded the whole thing for my newly created Youtube channel. You can check out the unboxing and assembly video here.
I love watching him put together furniture especially when he gets so mad at his own mistakes but never admits them. Does your husband do that too?
Versatile & chic
What I loved most about the console table was that it was versatile and chic! You could put it pretty much in most rooms and it would still look great.
My suggestion is that it would be most suited to either the hallway, living room, office or entrance way!

Sturdy & lot’s of storage
The console table is made from veneer and medium-density fibreboard which ensures resistance and can apparently hold up to approx 18kg (40 pounds).
This very handy piece of furniture has multiple storage areas including the lower shelf where you can store board games, books, magazines etc and the top where you can put beautiful plants, flower vases, photo frames and even candles (but of course taking precaution with these items so not to cause damage to your new table). There is also a centre drawer where you can store keys, wallets and even documents.
Vintage walnut colour
My favourite part of this vintage console table is the colour. It’s a walnut colour and just looks so chic and stylish. It really suits a home with beige/ cream/ mocha/ wood-style walls and flooring. I think it’s very versatile and can adapt to pretty much any surrounding in your home, which makes this a great buy.

They have quite a few great home decor items so it’s definitely worth checking them out – here are some pictures from their website so you can see what I mean:
