As the days go by, we all get a little hazy as to what day, date or even month it is during lockdown. Ideas on how to entertain kids whilst keep them learning at home are running very thin. So, I thought I would join the group and help parents with compiling a list of free learning resources on the web.

There are a lot of blog posts with lists and lists of resources you can get from the Internet on learning at home, but you never know I may have some great ideas you haven’t come across yet.

Free downloadable resources with things like reading, writing, speaking and colouring.

Nuffield Health Keep Fit At Home

Nuffield has prepared a whole host of health and wellbeing tips, videos, printables and exercise schedules for children to keep busy and fit during the lockdown.

Baby Sparks

This is a great app that you can use to play with your little baby. It is packed with different video-based activities based on developmental milestones.

As none of our kids can go outside it is great to know that museums are doing their bit to keep kids entertained online. They have a section on their website which is all about “taking part” with lots of great activities you can do with your children at home.

BBC Bitesize

The BBC offer all sorts of learning resources on their website for children of ages 3-16+ for learning and revising. They even have daily lessons at 9am each day on Iplayer aiming at different age groups.

Printables for Toddlers

This great site has a whole host of printables for children aged 2 and 3, including activities for science, maths, English, drawing, play and more.
